Staff from Dual Energy have raised over £200 after a bumper fund-raising day for Chestnut Tree House

In August, Dual Energy held a fundraising BBQ on the seafront in Worthing and 50+ staff from the company attended and donated. The fundraising was boosted by a raffle which was helped by the generosity of local businesses who donated prizes for the occasion. A volleyball match was also held and most of the staff participated, some surprising us with their volleyball skills.

Over £200 was raised for Chestnut Tree House, a charity nominated by organiser Richard Bartlett. The staff all had a great time whilst raising money for the worthwhile charity.

‘You can be my bbq wings man anytime Maverick… Delighted to say that staff turned out in full force to take part in our Volleyball and BBQ event and whilst it lacked the appeal of the infamous Top Gun scene, it was still a real dogfight for glory. We all bravely battled on the beach in the name of local charity and even the sun turned out to show its support’ - John-Paul Jenner, Marketing Manager.

The staff at Dual Energy are now looking forward to future fundraising efforts and hope to raise a lot more money for local charities.
